Daniel Bagwell, Pledge Class 2009"Opposite of most people, Fairway was the reason I came to Purdue. When a Senior in High School, I didn't know what college I wanted to go to. But after hearing about Fairway, I knew that it was the place for me.

It has turned out to be a great learning experience that I will be able to pull from for the rest of my life. The leadership opportunities and opportunities to learn how to work with other personalities within the house are valuable lessons that are learned here that are hard to find anywhere else."

Adam Bernaix , Pledge Class 2009"When I first moved into Fairway, I didn't know any of the actives or my pledge brothers or what to expect. Initially, I considered Fairway just somewhere to live. However, within the first day or so I realized that it was going to be so much more. The day I moved in, I met those who were going to become my best friends, those that I now feel privileged to call my brothers.

What I have now come to realize is that Fairway is about relationships; not only with you brothers but in your walk with Christ. I personally love the way that we challenge each other daily and how each other accountable. So, if you are a Christian man looking for a place to call home during your time at Purdue, I would highly recommend Fairway."

Zach Garrett, Pledge Class 2010"Before coming to Fairway last fall, I didn't know anyone at the house and really didn't know what to expect. Like every new person, I was a little unsure about fitting in, making friends, and becoming a member of the house.

Looking back now, coming to Fairway was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have made great friends, enjoy the Christian atmosphere, and have had opportunities I otherwise wouldn't have had. If you are a Christian man headed to Purdue who wants to be part of a great house of Christian men, apply to Fairway."

Evan Guse, Pledge Class 2010"As I prepared for my first semester at Purdue, I was nervous about making friends, getting acquainted with the campus, doing well in my classes, and keeping my spiritual life strong. After just one semester at Fairway, I have received valuable help from older members of the house, made over fifty of the closest friends I have ever had, and been challenged and encouraged in my walk with God.

Fairway is an amazing and life changing place that helps you mature quickly and allows you to pursue valuable leadership opportunities. If you are looking for a housing opportunity that will hold you accountable spiritually and provide you with lifelong memories and friends, Fairway is the place for you!"

Pledgeship was a lot of work, but looking back it taught me some instrumental truths and I grew close to many brothers through it. Nathan Hartje, Pledge Class 2006"After living in the dorms my first year, I looked for an opportunity to grow and joined Fairway. I worked hard and had a blast through pledgeship and bonded with my brothers. The more I grew, the more I realized my brothers struggled with the same things that I did, as I found others willing to challenge me.

Through this encouragement, sage advice from our house advisers, and ever-maturing understanding of God's Word, I have grown such that I am now helping others bear fruit, as well. If you're looking for an opportunity to grow and serve those around you, then Fairway is your house."

Ben Hebbe, Pledge Class 2009"Freshman year I lived in the dorms and had no clue about the Cooperative system. I decided to go through rush and learn more about each house. Joining Fairway was one of the best decisions I have made while here at Purdue. From our social events to philanthropic events to just relaxing, there is always something fun to do when not studying. The brotherhood at Fairway is unlike any other house. We are brothers in Christ."

Stephen Kaufman, Pledge Class 2009"When I came to live at Fairway, I really had no idea what to expect. I knew I was going to be part of a group of guys in a Christian house on a big campus, but what I have found in the house is a group of close friends that I have really learned to respect and call my brothers.

For two years I have been able to live alongside these brothers who are real about the ups and downs of college life. We strive to encourage and keep one another accountable both in our walk with Christ and in school. If you are looking for a Christian brotherhood where you will be encouraged and challenged to give your best in nearly every aspect of life, then I would highly recommend Fairway."

Yunho Lim, Pledge Class 2010"I came to Fairway as a sophomore, while many other pledges were freshmen. In my freshman year, I lived on campus and sought Christian atmosphere where I could belong to. Fairway is the best place where Christian students share faith, make life-long brotherly friends, and learn life skills and leadership.
House meetings, weekly house duties, socials, and many other house events not only helped me learn and get along with my brothers but also taught me how to balance academics and social life and how to manage my time. I have grown as a well-rounded person thanks to the semester-long pledgeship at Fairway. Without my living experiences at Fairway, I could not imagine myself keeping spiritual growth and enjoying college life."

Joel Mayes, Pledge Class 2010"Before I became a part of Fairway, I was looking for an inexpensive place to live that possessed a Christian environment. Once I was a member, Fairway became much more than a Christian house that satisfied my financial desires; it became a place where I met other Christian guys who would later become some of my closest friends. Fairway has given me the opportunity to create close friendships among Christian brothers and further my spiritual maturity."

Spencer Moore, Pledge Class 2010"I came to Fairway last year as a freshman and I honestly didn't know what to expect out of the house. I knew only that it was a place where Christian men were able to fellowship and encourage each other. I thought that it would be a great environment to live in with all the worldly influence from college life.

Once I began pledgeship, I found out quickly that the guys here were not just "good influences" but that they would go out of their way to make sure that I was walking with the Lord."

John Oswalt, Pledge Class 2010"I came to Fairway expecting a house where there were a bunch of Christian guys that I could call brothers because I went through pledgeship. Little did I know that this home would become the place where I would find best friends, brothers, and a stronger relationship in Christ.

I came about finding out about cooperative housing from my older brothers. It is not just a place where I can live cheaply, but it is a place were I can find my second family."

Adam Schmidler, Pledge Class 2010"Once I decided to come to Purdue one of my friends living at Fairway told me I should apply to the house. I came up and visited in the fall for a couple of days and really like the house. There were some awesome guys in the house and they excited me to rush and then to pledge.

Coming into pledgeship I didn't think that I was going to be that close to many of my pledge brothers because I had met most of the guys who had lived in the house last year and thought I would chill with them. I was completely wrong. Through pledgeship I have made my closest friends. Pledgeship was tough, but completely worth it. I formed great friends and being a member of the house is a privilege and honor."

Stephen Sells, Pledge Class 2010"Before I came to Purdue, I was nervous about being in such a big place without any friends. After pledging to Fairway, I now have a great balance of friends, academics, and Christian fellowship, as well as involvement in the many activities going on around Fairway.

I talk to people that live in the dorms and they can't believe that I'm able to live in such an awesome place so economically. Being with Christian brothers has greatly helped my college experience, and I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else!"

Daniel St. Pierre, Pledge Class 2010"Fairway has definitely been the best part of my first year at Purdue. Nate Stewart, Pledge Class 2010"The thing I like most about Fairway is that I have about fifty Christian brothers who are here for me. Not just friends, but brothers. Moving from my home with three sisters to a house full of brothers was certainly a huge change, but definitely a positive one.

And each of my new brothers is there for me if I ever need them. If I'm having problems or questions about school, faith, or anything, my brothers are here to help me. I can honestly say that choosing to live at Fairway, in a Christian environment on a secular campus, is one of the best decisions I have ever made."

Nathan van Eyk, Pledge Class 2009"Fairway has meant so much to me in the three semesters that I've been a member. Before, joining, I had heard I would meet many lifelong friends during my time at Fairway and now I can truthfully say that I have.

I've had a lot of fun while getting to know everybody but I mostly appreciate our solidarity as brothers in Christ, steadily challenging ourselves to grow together in Him. God has taught me so much through both disagreements and our unity as a house. I would strongly encourage those looking for a fun, Christ-centered brotherhood to consider Fairway."

Joel Wesseling, Pledge Class 2007"Having been at Fairway for four years, I have seen a lot. I can undoubtedly say that the maturity and quality of the individuals in the house have improved every year. Each year, it seems that several of my good friends have left to pursue other living arrangements, yet the Lord has repeatedly been faithful in allowing me to become close with guys in younger pledge classes.

I have also enjoyed the vast amount of intramural sports that Fairway has paid for me to participate in. Over my four years in the house, I have played over a dozen different sports and, with the help of my brothers, enjoyed success in almost all of them! This past year, we were even able to dominate all of the Fraternities in a flag football tournament! I can honestly say that I have never regretted my choice to spend all four of my undergraduate years here at F-Dub."

Luke Wesseling, Pledge Class 2010"When I was trying to figure out what college would be the best fit for me during my senior year of high school, there was one deciding factor that made my choice obvious. This factor was Fairway Cooperative. Fairway provides you with the best of both worlds when it comes to deciding between a small, Christian university and a large, public university. With Fairway you have the closeness and atmosphere of a Christian university along with the endless opportunities of a large campus like Purdue University. This has allowed me to receive all of the benefits of a top notch university such as Purdue, without losing the close-knit family feel of a smaller university.

I have formed friendships that will last me beyond college. There is never a dull moment at Fairway. If you are looking for something to do or someone to hang out with, then you will find it. Overall, Fairway has been the best thing that has happened to me at Purdue University. Without Fairway I would be missing out on an irreplaceable brotherhood that changed my life."

Greg Wetterlin, Pledge Class 2009"I lived in the dorms my freshman year and pledged at Fairway my sophomore year. Moving from the dorms into Fairway was an amazing change. It was very helpful to make friends who had Christian values similar to mine especially in a collegiate culture such as the one we have today.

I can honestly say that the friendships I have made with the brothers here at Fairway are friendships that will last way beyond my years at Purdue or Fairway. I believe that the strength of our relationships are due to the fact that they are centered in Christ. Fairway has been a huge blessing to me."

Zeb Wezensky, Pledge Class 2010"My experience at Fairway has been excellent and significantly contributed to my experience at Purdue. I joined my freshman year and have since developed deep friendships and found academic support. To be part of brotherhood and a unified group of men helps tremendously, and the house activities add fun to the already fantastic college experience.

I have already experienced a smooth transformation from the high school senior to the college freshman who would eagerly help newcomers become active members at Fairway and the Purdue community. I would not have made this transition if it had not been for Fairway, and I greatly recommend becoming a part of Fairway."
